Oh la la lash

Hey everyone! Yes I did take me all week. I planned on a video ( which I will do) but I had an allergic reaction to something and yup left me with a puffy eye. Lame!

But I know what it was and I won't be using that eye patch again!

So for today's post-- I thought I would share how I get my lashes to look so full and thick.

Yes, these are all my own lashes!
I apply one coat of mascara,  then (the bottom brush) is the transplanting gel, and then the (top brush) is the fibers.
Sounds like a lot but I have timed it. It takes me 2 mins and I have fuller lashes.

I honestly am in love with this 3d fiber moonstruck lash.

The cost is around $30 and last 3 months. Compared to lash extensions= way cheaper!

At the end of the day I use coconut oil to remove my eye makeup.

I know your probably saying how does that work if it's solid. I put a little on a spoon and it melts so quickly! I dab a little onto my finger and rub the mascara off.

You will be surprised how soft your skin & lashes feel after.
And since I have been using the coconut oil my lashes look super healthy!

You can really use any coconut oil. The one in the pic is from Whole Foods, by the skin care items.

So there you have it ladies!

Body Shop Haul

I'm back!
There will not be any more long breaks. Promise! It's been a little busy.
If you follow my personal Instagram you will know my bulldog Memphis had 2 puppies. So I have been playing mom to little boy & girl. They are the cutest little things.

I recently went to The Body Shop and picked up a few things.

Right now they are having a 40% off the whole site!

My first pick is the Glazed Apple body butter. It smells like jolly ranchers. It really it is the best smell!
--perfect for gifts!

My other favorite thing I picked up was the Peppermint Foot Scrub. There is pumice stone in the scrub. It may be cold out but those feet still need a little love.

Here are a few other favs I picked up while I was there.

There scents are so yummy. You will not be disappointed if you purchase a few. They have great stocking items for family and friends as well.

Enjoy!!

Coffee Body Scrub

As I continue the tanning week.

Here is my favorite coffee body scrub that just so happens to be Homemade.

Gals.. The smell of this scrub is so good and easy to make!

I started with whole coffee beans, coconut oil, almond oil, organic sugar.
 - Other things you can add in your scrub: coconut flakes, peppermint extract, vanilla extract.

Grind up 1 1/2 cup- 2 cups of the coffee beans.
Add in 1 tablespoon of coconut oil & 1 tablespoon of almond oil
I used about 1/2 cup of the organic sugar (if you feel like you need more add more)
Stir until completely mixed, then add in more oil if you need it.
Now add in whatever else you want to. Get Creative!

Store your scrub in a air tight container.

Apply the scrub on your skin for 5-10 mins & gently scrub over skin and leave it until it dries, then wash off.

If you have scrubs you like to make make sure and comment.
Stay tuned for another post tomorrow about tanning.

A little pre-tan prep

As of tonight Summer is over.. I am a little bummed. On the bright side the holidays will be here before we know.

If your like me I love a little color all year. By color I mean a tan
And no that does not mean run to the nearest tanning salon and lay in the tube & get the color that way. If you still do that maybe you should try saving some $$ and try a little tan at home.

Today is all about the Prep for the skin.

Prepping the skin is the most important part of keeping that tan on & on longer!
Before you shower dry brush that skin (huge fan of it).
Then hop in the shower don't turn the water yet! Grab a body scrub and start with your legs moving up.
Then you can turn the shower on. Go ahead & shave. Shaving is an exfoliate as well.
After you get out of the shower make sure you are complete dry.

It may sounds like a lot of steps but it takes 3 mins or less to complete.

If you are not a morning person or do not have time thats ok. Follow these same steps & do these before bed.

Ladies this week is all about the tan! So stay tuned!!
Tomorrow I'm sharing my favorite homemade body scrub.

Loving for Fall

Happy Wednesday!

I know, I have been absent the past few days! Life is calming down finally.

I do have lots of things planned for the blog. Stay tuned for that!

Today, I am sharing what I am loving for Fall. I am trying to hold on to every last bit of summer as I bring my fall items out.

I have yet to try a BB Cream but this one from MAC is on my list!

I am a HUGE lover of coconut, after last weeks post I use it for everything!
This body polish I will be picking up to remind me of summer.

I may have a little problem with trying new nail polish this one from Deborah Lippman Gel Lab System. It is a higher end product but I have read quite a bit about it.. I can not wait to try it. I will let you know what I love or hate about it.

The last thing on my list..

Is a skin care line that I love love love! It is an all natural skin care line that I use and I can not get enough of. My favorite product that I am loving at the moment is the Firm Skin Acai Cleanser from Eminence.  It is not just for aging skin ladies. I love the way it feel & smells.
Eminence is a great skin care line!! I will be sharing more about my love for it on a post coming up!

Stay tuned for the post coming up. I still have the giveaway that I will be starting on Friday so watch for that.

Thanks for stopping by,

XOXO,

Crazy for Coconut Oil

Hey Ladies!!

Hope everyone had a great long weekend! My husband & I took in every last min of the summer air outside. I did get a little shopping in with all the sales I had to.

I am just going to put it out there. I have a mad love for coconut oil. Let's just say I use Coconut Oil for pretty much everything!
Here are some of the ways I have tried:

I use it as a sunscreen. This is something  I learned this from my friend and gave it a try. It does not have a high SPF. I do apply it once every hour & I do not burn.

It works great as a moisturizer. I put it on my skin every day. My skin feels so soft all day.
I use it to take off eye makeup with it. (no more yucky makeup remover)

It is also a great conditioner for your hair.

I also oil pull with coconut oil. I took me a little bit to get used to it. I do have to nuke mine in the microwave before I OP. Since I started OP my teeth and mouth do feel cleaner! Read more on OP here.

Here are a few of the Health Benefits of Coconut Oil:
If your not on the craze for Coconut Oil try it out and see what you think.

I want to here what ways you use Coconut Oil Comment below!
